Assignment 20 - Research and Inspiration

 These are both products of Shepard Fairey, a contemporary graffiti artist that just recently gained the attention of more mainstream audiences. He is most famous for his Obama "HOPE" posters that look like popart.

Drunk driving prevention poster:

• colors used: black (symbolizing mourning/death), red (provokes strong emotion), orange (caution), green (health)
• use of victims of accidents in most preventative posters
• "Drunk driving: over the limit, under arrest."

I chose these two designs as my inspiration pieces because they use unity to bring all of the aspects of the stationary package together and they provide interest the the viewer.
